Logo Design

Heat Serve Engineering

This logo and colour scheme was designed for Heat Serve Engineering in Chilcompton, Radstock. They specialise in Plumbing, heat and air-conditioning installation.

Slieve Donard Challenge

This logo was designed for the Simplyhealth events team. SDC is a mountain climbing challenge for dentists and their teams in Ireland. In addition to being in aid of Alzheimer’s Society, Denplan members climb the tallest mountain in Northern Ireland, a massive 850 metres, as a practice team experience.

This logo depicts an exaggerated illustration of Slieve Donard and uses the classic triangle shape to emphasize the fact this is a mountain challenge.

Cowes Businesses’ Loyalty Kitemark

This concept logo was designed for the Cowes Business Association in response to the difficult times experienced by Cowes businesses during the COVID 19 lockdown. The design emphasises the need for customer loyalty and reflects the nature of many of the businesses in what is essentially a world class sailing town.

Scaffolding and Access Safety Consultants

SASC is a company specifically aimed at scaffolding and access contractors and any organisation that may use scaffolding or other access equipment on an occasional or regular basis. SASC was set up in direct response to the growing requirement for adherence to standards and compliance, current health and safety legislation, industry guidance and best practices.

SASC had a working logo, that used primary colours, a slightly naive design which needed to be reworked to reflect the robust nature of the business. It also needed to appear more official and corporate.

The device on the left of the logo is used independently at times, in other media, and depicts the ends of a bunch of scaffolding poles with a subtle tick hinting to the fact this is a recommended and official service.

World Cruising Club

World Cruising Club (WCC) provide a comprehensive service to cruising sailors. A crude version of this logo was originally sketched by the client, as a basis for the initial brief. After refining this concept a series of cruise logos (on the right) were prepared, this portfolio of cruises has now expanded to over 10 different worldwide events.

Noonsite

Recently WCC invested in the website based company Noonsite.com – ‘The ultimate cruising sailors’ planning tool’. As this was already a popular website they did not wish to confuse visitors with a totally different logo, so I retained the Garamond typface, stylised the sun emblem more and added the yacht as a nod to the new owners.

Cowes Rifle and Pistol Club

This logo was designed for the local rifle and pistol target shooting club. It will be used on all business stationery, bespoke targets, vehicle livery, business signage and uniforms.

Avoiding the cliché and negative aspects of adding illustrations of guns, this logo emphasizes fun elements of the sport of target shooting, but is robust enough to appear alongside the gun shooting fraternity

Limelight School of Dance

This free-style dance academy logo was designed to appeal to teenage dancers, it is used on uniforms, bags, social and printed media. The single colour Littlelights logo was designed for the recently formed under 3s and toddlers dance group
