Cowes Business Association Brand Guidelines

The Cowes Business Association supports, encourages and promotes businesses across Cowes, East Cowes, Northwood and Gurnard on the Isle of Wight.

I was asked by the Cowes Business Association to create their brand guidelines to ensure there is brand continuity throughout all communications.

Book designed for Simon Harrop, a sensory branding expert based on the Isle of Wight, to explain the subject of Sensory Branding and to showcase businesses using his innovative services to market their businesses using sound, smell, touch and taste.

Eventful

This A5 booklet was designed for the Denplan events team to be handed out to member dentists at trade shows and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events. It was printed on an uncoated stock which gave it a premium feel. The front cover folded out to reveal the complete events and training calendar. The design used strong typographic effects to enhance the training aspects of the document, powerful testimonials were given plenty of design space and mono images with a hint of colour (see above) were used throughout. Copy was kept to a minimum to enhance it’s exclusive appearance.

Emergency Insurance Policy

This 10 page A5 roll folded leaflet is packed with policy information. The main challenge with this document is the legal aspects relating to the copy, they must not be abstruse, the copy must naturally flow and be legible.

A 48 page informative magazine for dentists and their teams, this was always available at trade shows and conferences.
