This project was to enhance Denplan sales with Simplyhealth corporate clients, and to renew business relationships with previous customers.

The most important element of the client’s brief for the campaign, was it needed to refer to the fact that Simplyhealth still offered ‘Denplan’ (Simplyhealth the parent company’s oral health product, Denplan, had not disappeared and was still the great product it always was).

The success of this campaign relied on the fact that future concepts would be made available to the client at regular intervals, and the theme would run through the communications. Each advertisement would appear in HR publications and build on the initial message.

The strength of these advertisements was in the copy, humorous headlines were copywritten to capture the attention of the prospective client. With a cheeky nod to the familiar apple Denplan used to have in its logo, simple mono images, in the style of retro engravings, were added to a plain colour background to reflect the message. Strong targeted copy in the main body of text was followed by a direct, easy to follow call to action.
